8. What is paddle tennis?

You will have a free access to a paddle tennis court. The keys are kept with the security/doorman and will be given to you on request. Please bring your own paddle and a ball.

Paddle tennis is a game adapted from tennis and played for over a century. Compared to tennis, the court is smaller and has no doubles lanes, and the net is lower. Paddle tennis is played with a solid paddle as opposed to a strung racquet, and a depressurized tennis ball is used along with an underhand serve. The same court is used for both singles and doubles, with doubles being the dominant form of play. The smaller court size adds a strong emphasis and advantage to net play and creates a fast and reaction-based game.

It is easier than tennis and perfect for beginners.

For more information about the game please click here.

9. What are the pool rules?

There are 5 pools in the holiday complex including children pool. In the summer the lifeguard is provided for a biggest pool free of charge.

10. How to get there?

The holiday complex is situated between Malaga (50 minutes by car) and Gibraltar (30 minutes by car) airports.  Almost all European airlines fly to Malaga. We recommend to use skyscanner.com to find the best available tariffs. Budget airline Easyjet flies from Switzerland from Geneva (up to 4 times per day depending on the season) and Basel.

We recommend you to book a car. It will take you less than one hour to get to your apartment. We recommend you to use a highway (auto route) for easy drive (it will cost you less than 10 Euros one way). The national roads are good also but can be busy in high season.

Marbella with famous Puerto Banus, which is Spanish equivalent to French Nice, is 15 minutes drive away. There are also other sights to see not far from your accommodation.

We will provide you all necessary information prior your arrival.

The location map for the apartments can be found here.

11. What are check in and check out rules?

The voucher is valid Saturday to Saturday. You can come and leave any time between this dates. The change is not given and all the charges should be paid in full.

Yes, the nearest supermarket is LIDL, which is only 5 minutes drive from your accommodation, right at the entrance to Puerto Duquesa. You cannot miss it. A bit further (Malaga direction) there is a big Carrefour. And of course shops are everywhere.

We also recommend you to stop on your way in La Canada, which is one of the biggest shopping malls in Spain, not far from Marbella (you will see road signs). You can buy everything you need for your stay (including food and water) there. There are food courts also and it is air conditioned. It is a perfect way to spend your first or last day in Spain. The prices are much cheaper than in Switzerland, so you might also buy something for your home or for you.

Casares is a picture postcard village with a population of just three thousand and the view from the approach is definitely worth a photo. To say that Casares is beautiful is an understatement. Most of the white villages are beautiful but there is something very special about the sight of Casares that causes the visitor to park the car and simply stare or take a photo. Ronda is one hour 20 minutes drive from your accommodation. Set in and around a deep gorge spanned by an impressive bridge, the relaxing atmosphere here is a great break from some of the more tourist-ridden places on the south coast of Spain, however it can still be packed with day-trippers from the Costa del Sol, especially during the peak summer months. To read more please click here.

Marbella's motto is "A Way of Life" and, certainly, this luxurious resort town seems to have it all and is, once again, rising to the fore as a favourite location with the rich and famous, as well as more ordinary folk who are willing to pay extra for southern Spain's answer to St Tropez. Marbella is just about 30 minutes drive from your apartment.

Benahavis is about 40 minutes drive from your apartment. To many Andalucíans, native and expatriate alike, Benahavis is synonymous with food. It has the highest concentration of high class restaurants in the region and draws visitors by the thousand who come simply to savour the cuisine.
